ONEHUNGA MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
A sitting of the Magistrate's Court was held on Tuesday, before Mr B. C- Cntten, S.M. Sergeant itogers represented the po'ice. Civil Cases. —Jndgment for the amount claimed, and co?*s, was given in the following cases:—R. Dillicat v. Clapham Gas Light Co., £14 4/; W. J. Brewin v. A. E. Langley, £3 14/5; C. Lomai v. C. Angus, £(J; J. W. ■StockJey v. J. JC. Sonth, £1 5/; same v. J. Graham ; C. Lomax v. C. Angns, £6 4/.
By-laws.—P.. Laurent was lined 10/ and costs 7/, for driving a loaded loriy over the footpaths. G Walker charged E. G. Butterworth with assaulting him and dragging him off the premises. The defence was ttnit Walker had been ordered off several times ,and would not go. an<l then Jiu/ttt-nvorth had forcibly c-iected him. The case was dismissed.
Jas. Righ.-im sued A. Powell for £10. casli lent to defendant last year. Judgment was given for the amount, with costs 10/. Application for Separation Order.—An application for a separation order was made by SI. A. Robertson from her husband. R. Robertson. «n necount of drink and illtreatment. After healing the evidence, the magistrate dismissed the case.
