WANGANUI JOCKEY CLUB'S SPUING MEfiTING. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WANGANUI, this day. The second day's racing of the Wanganui Jockey Club's Spring Meeting Is being held to-day. The weather is unfavourable, steady rain having set in this i morning, but the attendance is good. Results are as follows :— < -. 1Owen Handicap of loOsovs six fur-] longs.—Countermine, 7.G, 1 ; Mon Ami, 8.2, ! 2; Te Roti 3. All started. Emblem was j left at the post. Mou Ami led til! a furlong from home, where Countermine drew | level, and eventually won by half a length. | A- length and a-half between second and i third. Time, 1.14 4-5. " j Railway Hack of-lOOsovs. six furlongs.— Golden Loop, 0.1, 1: Valentine, 7.2, ,2; Aattentlon, 7.12, 3. All started. Falsetto got away badly. Big Blast led to the ; straight, where Golden Loop drew up and , won comfortably by over a length. Time, I 1.15.
