WAITEMATA CLUB'S ANNUAL I ' C MEETING. ' j There was a good attendance at -the annual meeting of the Waitemata Bowling Clttb, which was held at the residence of the president of the. club (Mr H. M. Shep- ' herd), Birkenhead. The report and balancesheet, which were adopted, showed that the club had had a successful year, though none - of the teams Iri the association tournament 1 had managed to bring any trophies home with them. Mr A. J. Redgrave had the honour of winning the Skeates cup, wM_st Mr Beg. Shepberd carried off the president's ; pair of presentation bowls. The pair'bf ' buckles presented by Mr W. H. Bartlett. had also roused some keen contests The receipts for the year totalled £84 18/1, and : the expenditure £61 10/3.
