CHANCELLOR'S IMPUTATIONS. (Received 9.50 a-m.) LONDON, July 20. Acknowledging Mr. Lloyd George's letter in reply to their recent communication, the Law Society expresses profound disappointment at his inability to withdraw his imputation. Mr. Lloyd-George recently stated that lawyers always opposed reforms whic> took fees out of their own pockets. In reply to a motion of censure from the I_w Society, he wrote that he was sorry if he had offended. He explained that —is criticisms of the I_i-.v Society were not intended to suggest that individual jaeinbers, for the sake of their pockets, advocated what was contrary to the public interest, or to reflect upon the society's honour and reputation. i
