Besides Halligan, who tied for second place with 103 out of a possible 105, eight Australians are entitled to compete in the second stage of the Eing'a Prize., their scores being as follows:— L. Burgoyne (South Aus.) 1)7 J. W. Masefield (New Zealand), 9S, is also a competitor. Captain T. Pye (Queensland), and Halligan (West Australia), won prizes in the Duke of Cambridge competition.
