« (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ' DROWNED IN A RIVER. INVERCARGILL, this day. The body of Jane Acker, a widow, aged 66 years, was found in the Oreti River on Thursday evening. Deceased, who worked as a housekeeper, had been in poor health, but had not hinted at suicide.
