KING EDWARD'S DEATH.
"I SHAU FIGHT IT OUT." PERTH, June 8. News received by mail concerning the King's death shows that his physicians tried without success to dissuade His Majesty from going to Sandringham, where he caught his second and fatal chill. He was equally difficult to control when he returned from the Palace. The following statement is attributed to him: -'Xo, my back is to the wall, and I shall fight it out." He submitted himself finally to the doctors only eight hours before he died.
