( A resnnent of infantry, while marchins at knnissbrdch, Germany, was struck j three of the soldiers being . killed outright, ten severely and five I slightly injured. Several other isolated deaths have been : rcportrd. , Wliile a woman was walking along the top cf a cliff at Herns Bay, Essex, she was struck by lightning, receiving a cevere. but not fatal, shock. Lightning damaged the army balloon factories and workshops at Farnborough.
