BOY SCOUTS.
The Xorthcote" Boy Scoute broke eampr on Monday evening last, after %-fort':; night's- pieusant -outing a* Sioai Bay: Through the. courtesy ot 3lr. deXueu', the tents' were pitched on. Thoseboys wha were ob*Eged. to" return ite-their ordinary avocations off the intervening; day* between: Christmas- and New Year holidays' were thus enabled to do-so without inconvenience. -During -the" fortnight,- the scouts besides? 'being: drilled in infantry work, signalling, scouting, etc;,, enjoyed in. the 1 evenings -their camp-fire- enter* tainments, and- the. excitement, incidental to night raids, on-and by other troops. CSrarrfr parades and camp services were held on Sundays, and a good standard of discipline was maintained during' the whole time. -Tlhe boys, were delighted -when informed that thw scout movement had. been emi»raced in the'new Defence' Act
