Further seis- ! mie and volcanic action is expected, with electric and magnetic disturbance, to which the cablegrams will probably refer. Meteorologically, the disturbance named after Old Father Anchises caused the Gisborne doode and later the rams in North Island- His influence is not yet negative, and further developments are looked for."
