tr—. —— — SOUTH AUCKLAND BOUNDARIES. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON", this day. The secretary °* ths South Aucklandj Rugby Union has received a communication from the New Zealand Union with reference to the objection made by the Maniapoto s.ub-uiiio.i! to being Included, stating the matter had been thoroughly considered. The Union came tq the conclusion the boundaries arranged were the most suitable, and would be adhered to. WELLINGTON V. AUCKLAND. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Auckland team to meet Wellington to-morrow will be considerably weakened, as in addition to Injuries received by a number of players In llarl'bqrough match, several prominent players who were to have come down for the Wellington match were unable to make the trip. W. Cunningham, H. Hayward, and Q. Bater could not travel to join the side; and Bater's place was taken by B. Winder, of the Thames, who, accompanied by G. Sellars, will arrive by the express this afternoon. Seeling has hurt his shoulder, Morse his ankle, Murray his shoulder, and Wilson Is lame. The Wellington public are confident of victory. The Wellington team Is as follows: — Full-back, J. Ryan (Petone): three-quarters, Evenson (Athletic), Mltchinson (Poncke), Walshe (Poueke); five-eighths, McLeod (Orlen'tnll, Roberts (Oriental); half, Green (Petone); wing-forward, 11. Avery .(Old Boys); forwards, A. Bruce (St. James), J. Tannahill (Poneke), "RanJl" Wilson (Athletic), A. C. Wilson (Wellington), "G. McKellar (Wellington), Denuehy (Poueke), and W. Ready (Athletic). The team Is somewhat differently constituted to that which met Tarauaki, and the alterations made must be considered a great; Improvement. One pf the most noticeable alterations is In the three-qna iter line. E. Ryan, the Poneke threeTqunrter, has been dropped, and his place has been filled by T. Walshe, who played flve-elghths agali.st Tarannkl. Wnlshe is a versatß» back and should Justify the alteration. There are two new flve-eighths—Roberts ■ and McLeod, McKenzie (Petone) having been dropped out. Surprise was expressed about McLeod not having been Included against Tarannkl. He has been used to working with lloberts, and the pair should five a good account of themselves. Green could not be left'out of the position at ! half. Gardiner, on the wing, has been replaced by 11. Avery—a good "bustler' 1 and handy scoring roan. The only other alteration Is the inclusion of'Denuehy in the forwards instead of Houlihan. The back strength of the team has heen Improved fully HO per cent by the readjustment of positions and the new hlood, and an interesting match may be confidently anticipated. \ Owing to the condition of several of ' the Aucklanders, it is as yet impossible to pick their Bfteeu, but probably a decision will be arrived at to-night. The manager of the AucHund team. (Mr. C. J. Stlchbury) advhsed mc this morning thftt several of the men were knocked out, and the selector will b»ve to reorganise lor Wellington. WELLINGTON UNION DISPUTE. SELECTION COMMITTEE RESIGNS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The resUbntlon of the "Selection Committee of the Wellington Rugby Union has been received. It Is understood this has been occasioned by a desire to pass over two players who were originally chosen nH emergencies, and to bring in a third one to fill a vacancy that had arisen. One of the three selectors refused to agree, and this occasioned the resignation of the lot. The Management Committer decided to fill the vacancy by appointing one of the original emergency men. It is likely that the team for PJe Southern tour will he selected by the Management Committee.
