SCOW ECHO ASHORE.

THE CREW SAFE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Secretary of the Post Office has been advised that the scow Echo went ashore yesterday on the south side of Karamea river. The crew landed safely. The Echo is a scow of 126 tons gross, and fitted with a3O h.p. oil engine. She was built at Kaipara in 1905, and is owned by the Karamea S.S. Co., Ltd.
