The New Zealand Cricket Council decided to-night that the secretary sbonld communicate direct "with the South African cricket authorities, and ascertain the terms upon which the team which is to visit Australia would "extend its tour to New Zealand. It was further decided, that the Management Committee should consider the rules governing the Plunket Shield matches. w;lth a view to .alteration - if. advisable,-the com. mittee to acquaint the' associations with the proposed, alterations'.
