S i i To-morrow (Saturday), February 20, the Victoria Cruising Club hold their second cruising race, for which the following are the entries and handicaps:— First Class.—Sadie, on wind, - scratch, off wind, scratch; Mlro, scratch, scratch; Glady, 6m, sm: Llna, 11m, 7m; Encounter, 12m, 4m; Koninl, 16m, 12m. 'Second Class.—Mowai, scratch, scratch; Hetty, 4m, 3m; Seablrd, 11m. 8m; Roma, 14m, 10m; Fairy Bell, 16m, 10m; Sceptre, 14m, 8m; Countess, 18m, 12m; Avona, ISm, 11m. Course: From north side flagship direct to Home Bay, keeping outside all fair-way marks, and finishing between mark boat and eastern point. Race to start at 2 p.m. Both classes together. On Monday night, February 22. at seven o'clock, the ladies' dinghy race, which was postponed at the picnic, will be rowed off from St. Mary's Point. LAUNCH RACES. The N.Z.P.A. Boat Association will hold their four series of races on Saturday, 20th February, tinder the new handicap rules, viz.: Each boat owner to handicap his own boat, and should the distance be covered by any boat In less than the time declared. : including a 24 per cent margin, such boat to be disqualified. Commodore A. Brett's launch Allcyne will act as flagship. The first race will start at 2 p.m. At 3.15 an exhibition of speed will be given by Mr J. Retd between his launches Seablrd and his fast speed launch. Following are the entries and handicaps:— Under 7 knots, distance 6j knots, to start at 2 p.m.—(63) Sport, scratch; (68) Edlna, lm; (57) Winnie, 2m 30s; (10) Eagle, 4m; (79) Cygnet, 4m 30b; (29) Edna, 6m; (77) Nelson, 8m 30s. Under 8 knots, distance 13 knots, to start 2.30 p.m.—(46) Winsome, scratch; (68) Alice, 20s; (55) Maroro, 3m; (52) -Floral, 4m 40s; (70) Buffalo, 4m 40s; (44) Marere, sm; (58) Vaiti. 9m. Under 6 knots, distance 6J knots, to start 2.45 p.m.—(l3) Ina scratch; (75) Perfection, lm. '
