ONE-TREE HILL BOARD.
The One-tree Hill Board met last evening, when there were present Mr. E. W. Burton (chairman) a.id Messrs. H. Devereaux, M. R. Creagh, C. MeKluney. and W. Wall. A request was received from the Mount Wellington Bond Board to appoint representatives to confer with their Board regarding alterations In boundaries between the two districts. It was decided to appoint the-chairman and Mr. McKiunev to meet the Mount Wellington Road Board. It was decided to donate £6 toward the cost of erecting a new fence on the frontage of the One-tree Hill Domain. A letter was received from the Onehunga Borough Conn ell In reference to the supply of water tn residents In certain parts of the Road Board district. A copy of the agreement accompanying the letter was referred to the Board's legal advisers, to be reported upon. A deputation from the Onehunga Borough Council, which consisted of Messrs. J. Rowe (Mnyor) and A. S. Holmes, waited on the Board with reference to taking Jeilnt action In the lighting of Mount' Smart-road, from Victoria-street to the Royal Oak. The matter was eventually referred to the chairman and Mr. MeKluney to report on.
