MOUNT ROSKILL ROAD BOARD.
The Mount RosklU Road Board held their monthly meeting at the Board's office. Mt. Albert-road, Three Kings, last evening, the members present being Messrs. Chas Bagley, T. E. Hayr, C. Vorrall. J. Haslett, E. J. Hlrd, H. Ambury, and T. F. Booth (clerk). The general fund, the clerk announced, was £150 4/ in credit, the gas account was £S1 18/8, and the Interest account £59 10/0 to the good, while the water revenue account wns £31 10/2 overdrawn The accounts passed for payment amounted to £127 9/1. The tender was accepted of Mr. William Robertson of £29 per annum for the grazing rights of the Mt Roskill Domain Reserve. It was decided that Messrs. Bagley and Ambury wait npon the Rev. T. H. Slmmonds and the Methodist Mission trustees In rejrard tn Ridge-road and Wesley Bay reserve, and that a report be submrtted at the next meeting. It was also decided, on the motion of Mr. Worrell, to contribute £0 toward the cost of erecting the new fence along the Auckland-road forntage of the One-tree Hill Domain. It wns resolved tn communicate with the Agricultural Department, with a view to prosecuting a number of residents who allowed noxious weeds to grow on their properties und to cause a nuisance along the footpaths. Asphalting operations were now in progress, reported the chairman. He suggested that n trolley be procured for moving barrels of tar. and it was resolved to act on the suggestion.
