The nine-year-old son of Mr. James Taylor, contractor, of Murrurundi, fell ' into the Page River, near Mayne-street bridge, and was rescued by Miss Annie Carter, who, hearing screams, jumped over a sft. fence and- down a 12ft. concrete embankment into the river, and dragged the boy out.
