FLAGSHIP CRUISE.
SYDNEY, Sept. 19. The flagship Powerful, with Vice-Ad-miral Sir Richard Poore, Bart., will start on a lengthy cruise, on October S next. From here the cruiser goes to Port Adelaide and Port Lincoln, target practice being carried out at the latter place. She will afterwards proceed to Melbourne, and vvill remain in Hobson's Bay for the " Cup " festivities, afterwards sailing for New Zealand, visiting Wellington, Lyttelton, Akaroa, and Auckland. The Powerful and other ships of the squadron will rendezvous in New Zealand waters for Christmas. The flagship will leave Auckland on or about December 28 on the return to Sydney, and after a stay of a ! week in Farm Cove will sail for Hobart. | . I
