In a letter received from England by Mr. T. E- Donne, superintendent of the Tourist Department, Miss Ada Crossley (Mrs. F. Muecke), the famous contralto,! mentions that she leaves London on her [ Australasian tour by the Orontes on j August 7. She remarks that she has j made a stipulation in her contract with Mr. "Williamson for a week's leave in New Zealand, in order to visit Kotorua with her husband, Dr. F. Muecke, and party. The company includes Messrs. John Harrison (tenor), Mr. Hamilton Earle (baritone bass), Percy Grainger (pianist), and Leon Sajnetini (violinist), all of whom the writer describes as certain to contribute in making the tour a highly socceaful one.
