Thje-Mariii Bros. , Old Boy*' Club held a very successful euchre party and dance in the Boyal Albert Ball on Friday evening last The-hall was tastefully decorated with and the Door was in excellent condition, for dancing. The. euchre was very, Successfully carried Misses 3. Malarey, A. J|ist (3), Mahou, Puffin, Monncck, Speight, Simpson, - Stitt, -and Messrs C. Mahon and P. Sheehan, whilst a most enjoyable dance programme was being .gone through, under the direction of ■Messrs F. Simpson, B. O'Brien, W- Kemble, and P. 3. Grace, M.C.'s. The euchre tournament .resulted in Mrs Courtney eecuring the lady's prize, and Mr J. Kyle the ge'ut.'s prise. With an appreciative supper partaken - of, dancing was then indulged in by'some 200 couples, Mr P. Meredith"s qtcfiestra' rendering the music for the evenIng" The following were the committee:— Mesdames aialavey and Simpson, Misses J. Malavey, Rist (3), A. Courtney, Speight, Mahon, Monnock, A. MX. ALBERT LITEKABY AND
SOCIAL CLUB.
The inaugural meeting of the session of the'ajbo.ve Club' was held in the Methodist schoolroom last night, under thp presidency of Svir Watson, and took the lorm of a s.ociai evening. Musical items and recitations were rendered by some of the members. The ladies kinuly provided refreshments.
