NAVAL STRATEGY.
(To the Eaitor.) Sir, —Under this heading there appeared in a recent local paper a cable message of advice by Admiral Lord Chars. Beresford. Speaking at the Salters' annual dinner, he insisted that success in war now depended upon the strategy of the navy, which must be kept up°as a condition of efficiency in war. They would then be able to pulverise an enemy. Let brotherly love continue, however.
