SERIOUS MINE ACCIDENT.

EXPLOSION AT TE AROHA. TWO MEN INJURED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WAIHI, this day. Two miners, W. Young and Alfred Hawes, who were seriously injured in Hardy's Mines at Wairongomai yesterday afternoon, were admitted to the Waihi hospital to-day. Young has' one leg and one arm broken, and Hawes' skull is fractured. They were engaged spitting thirteen holes and delayed too long. Both men were knocked down. Hawes got away but Young received the full force of eleven holes. Mr. T. Tuohey (the well known wrestler) and party conveyed the two injured men three milea to the train. They are now Iving in a precarious condition.
