— ■ t „Ah c ° a "° n , al covert in aid of the funds of the Catholic Church on Monday evenins was a splendid success, the attendance ing excellent. A very en:oyable musical programme was snbmitted, those contributing being Mrs Andrews. Miss Burnside, Mrs Barry Misses Carson (2), Chapman. Foreman. Goodwill, and Ryan, Messrs P Maddigan Stagpole. Ferguson. Blackburn. Kyle Walsh, Hushes, and Purcellr The Highland Fling, danced by Misses Brennan and Smith, was an item which met with an imperative encore. The pupils of the convent also assisted in the oropramrae. The sum of £26 has been collected by the Lnke Memorial Committee to date _ fur ther meeting of collectors will be held at 3__5 rl & < 7 , !_ by which time jt is contemplated that the amount will be considerablT increased. . •
