BOARD OF EDUCATION.
B The fortnightly meeting of the Auckland Education Board was held to-day at the Board's Office, Victoria Arcade. Mr. L. J. Bagnall presided, and there were also present: Messrs. 11. J. Greenslade, M.P., J. Stalrworthy, M.P., G. Edgecumbe, C. T. Barriball. J. D. McKenzie, G. J. Garland, and A. R. Harris. Finance.—Accounts were passed as follow:—Administration Account, £10,508 9/3; Building Account £731 19/; Manual and Technical Account, £113 9/4. Technical College.—The Finance Committee recommended that the Chairman be authorised to negotiate the acquisition of the lease of Lots -_3-31, Weileslev-st part of the site for the Auckland Technical College. The recommendation was adopted. Appointments.— Appointments were authorised a.« follow:— Mr. James B Ramsay to be neadmaster of Clevedon school; J'' ."-'fud Hocson, teacher.
