A well-attended rally of Christian Endeavonrers was held in the Feilding Methodist Church on the 16th inst. The Revs. Swinherd and Cossum took part in the meeting. The Rev. C. E. Becroft, president of the Methodist Conference', 1 occupied the chair. A stimulating and helpful address on what C.E. stands for in the realms of morals, politics, and religion was delivered by Rev. J. T. Pinfold, president of the X.Z. C.E. Union. Refreshments were dispensed by the local society. Sometime ago the Mt. Albert Road Board drew the attention of the Post Office authorities to the need of better posting facilities being provided for the rapidly increasing population Th the vie- I inity of Kingsland-road and Edendale- ' road. It was suggested to erect a posting box at the point where these roads intersect. In consequence of the representation made the postal department have informed the Boar_i that the convenience asked for will probably be provided next week, and will be cleared twice a day, namely, at 9.30 a.m. and 3 P-™* __„ - - _ w _,ri^- ,
