His Excellency the Governor (Lord Plunket) arrived from New Plymouth by the Rarawa this morning. TTia Excellency' was accompanied by Captain Gathorne-' Hardy, AJXC, and Mr. H. C. Waterfidd,. private secretary. To-morrow Lord . -'' Plunket, in company with the Premier, attends the Maori gathering at Waharoa. . Lady Plunket is expected to arrive' on ; Thursday, and she will -,Be accompanied - by the Hon. ICathleen Plunket, Mr* Waterfield, and Captain Lyon, AJD.C. - Dn March 25 his Excellency .will perform the ceremony of laying the foundation stone of the Grafton bridge.
