-r, PAEB-OA. this day. The first day's racing of the Ohineniuri Jockey Club's annual meeting took place l"-day in fine weather. The course is in excellent condition, aud a large number of visitors were prescut. The following are the results:—
Shorts Handicap.—Mighty Atom. 5.4, XMiss Crispin. S.O. 2; Lady French, 7.4. 3. Won pasiiy. Also started: Melton Hall Alba Hose. Tenb.v, Conlide, and Rosewood. \\ on easily.
