POST ALBERT. (From Our Own Correspondent.) The anniversary /services in connection .with the rort Albert Methodist Church ! were held on December 20th. The Itev. : wm. Gittos preached to large cont'regations. Tiie Tempera-ec Hail was web filled at tae ! afternoon service, whiist in the evening tae ccuxca was we!! iiLled. Tne settlers were deUehted to have Mr. Gittos amongst tiem once a.nain. and turned out in large cumbers to hear him. On New Year's Day the annua! tea• meeting was held, and was a splendid success. The concert which followed was highly appreciated by a crowded audience. Rev. Gittos occupied the chair, and gave an address. Rev.- 3. D. Jory isupe.-intendeut of the circuit) aud ] llessrs. John Legge. A. Neal. and J. Shep- ; herd also gave short addresses. Sonss were j sung by Mrs. Worker. Misses V Becroft. I and J. Keif ord: Mr. E. Reid and Mr. C. C. ,' iiottomley (home missionarvi Mr. H. - a. French, and Mr. C. ' J add gave recitations: Messrs. W. R. Harrison ; --d C. 0. Bottorn'ey gave a duet, • 2-n a quartet was rendered by Mrs. ' iiottomley. Miss V. Becroft, and Messrs. ! ■Harrison and Eottomley. Mrs. E. Itei- ! gave two piano solos in finished stylo. and. ! The church is in a healthy condiaon. and. despite r_e severe winter, has i-ai_tai_ec a good average attendance.
