CBy Telegraph.—Press Association.) TAURANGA, this day. The Hon. MeGowan arrived here ,last night, having travelled during during the day from Rororua via Paengaroa and Te Puke. In the evening the Minister received deputations from the County and Borough Councils, and from the Railway League, which asked princi- ! pally for assistance for roads and I bridges, completion of the Kaimai-road I and connection with the railway system. | The Minister was accompanied by Mr. j Matthew s (private secretary), Mr. Hojmer (Under-Secretary for Mines), and j Mr. Hannah (Public Works En°-ineer | (Rotorua). The party left for WjUhi ! this morning.
