MINISTERIAL MOVEMENTS.
The Hon. J. Carroll, Minister for Native Affairs, left by the express this morning for Rotorua, accompanied by his private secietary, Mr. Johnson. In conversation with a representative of the " Auckland Star," Mr. Carroll said that a number of deputations of natives were arranged in connection with land matters. Returning from Rotorua, Mr. Carroll will go back to Wellington by the Main Trunk route. Mr. A. R. Barclay, M.P. for Dunedin North, who came to Auckland by the Main Trunk route, went up again in the same carriage as the Native Minister. He is so pleased wj£h what he saw on the trip up that he has elected to return by the same way. Mr. H. J. Greenslade, M.P., also travelled up with Mr. Carroll. Mr. C. H. Poole, M.P., and Mr. F. Laury, M.P., were at the station to sec the party off. By the same train, Mr. W. Crowe, private secretary to the Minister for Education, left for the purpose of meeting the Hon. George Fowlds, who returns from Eotorua this evening. To-morrow the Minister for Education entertains the members of the Dental Conference at lunch. On Thursday the Hon. George Fowlds, a3 Minister for Public Health, will visit the Cambridge Sanatorium, returning to Auckland the following day. The Hon. J. A. Millar, Minister for Marine, was present at the Bowling Tournament to-day.
