SYDNEY, October 28. The weather was fine for the Empire Match to-day, and there was a good light, the shooting conditions being the best that have obtained during the meeting, j The members of the New Zealand team fired very consistently. The British team lost 12 points through hitting wrong tar- j crets. Mai or Barley, one of the British team, made ten bulls at 500 yards. The position of teams in the Empire Match at the completion of the first two ranges is: Australia, 746; Great Britain, 737; New Zealand, 726.
