Addressing the lord-lieutenants of the counties at Buckingham Palace respecting the new duties and responsibilities devolving upon them in connection with the territorial army, His Majesty the King hoped, they would employ their best endeavours to execute the work that would be entrusted to them. His Majesty believed the united efforts of his people would result in the complete success of the scheme.
