The Board of Trade announces that Mr. Lloyd-George has had a conference, lasting an hour and a-half, with the directors of tbe various railway companies.

The conference was adjourned to enable those present to consider various suggestions submitted, with a view to faciUtating the settlement of questions raised between the employees and the companies.
