An accident, 'ivnicii fortunately was not attended with any serious consequences, occurred at Onehunga yesterday. Mr Bearer and a lad named Hale employed by Mr Blackwood, plumber, at Onehunga, were driving in a trap to Hilisboro' when the horse shied and overturned the trap. Mr Bearer .was thrown clear, but the lad was pinned under the trap. After being released from his awkward position be was taken to his home, where he was examined by Dr. Tressider, who found him to be badly bruise— and shaken besides having two small bones in the left hand broken.
