ILL-ADVISED AND ILL-TIMED.

CBy Telegraph.—Press Association.) OAMARV, this day. Bearing on recently telegraphed reports from Auckland as to alleged grievances in the Postal and Teiegrapu Department the Oainaru branch of the Post and Telegraph Officers' Association unanimously adopted the following resolution: —"In view of the beneficial reforms introduced during the past few months, and the assurance that an amending classification measure will be introduced in Parliament this session, this branch of the Post and Telegraph Officers' Association disapproves of the action of certain officers in allowing ■themselves to be interviewed as to grievances, imaginary or real, and considers the initiative taken by the "Auckland Herald" as undignified, ill-advised, and iil-timed; and that representations be made by this branch to its executive of the desirability of acquainting the Press Association of the existence of the Post and Telegraph Officers' Association for the information of its agents."
