LAD'S LONG FALL. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WAIHI, this day. A lad named Norman Pattullo, son of the Rev. O. Pattullo, met with an accident to-day while working in the Grand Junction mine. He was engaged in fixing an electric wire up on a brace, and to steady himself caught hold of an iron bar, which was apparently eateij through. When his weight was put upon it, it gave way, and young Pattullo was precipitated to the ground, a distance of fully 30 feet below. Dr. Robertson stated that no bones were broken, but that Pattullo might be injured internally. He has now regained consciousness. The recent late social in aid of the Bunting family resulted in a vet profit of over £28.
