On Wednesday lest, at the Hamilton Yards, on account of Mr D. Moroney. we held a clearing sale of live and dead stock. A large attendance r.f buyers was present from Matamata, Te Kuiti. Otorohanga, and surrounding districts, and we report a most successful sale. The 117 dairy cows were young and in condition, and sold at from £6 to £7 107: a few backward and aged cows. £3 10/ to £4; heifers due to calve in August. £4 5/ to £5; others, £2 17/6 to £3 10/; fat and forward young cows and heifers. £3 to £4 9/: empty IS month to two-year-old heifers. £1 18/ to £2 10./: 18 month steers. £2 S/: bulls, £2 to 4} guineas: 580 ewes in lamb. 10/8 to 15/3; rows and litters. £2 to £2 10/: dranght mares, £37 to £43 10/; draught geldings. £19 to £37 10/; hacks and buggy horsps. £S 5/ to £15; unbroken harness colts. £5 5/ to £9 10/: r>.F. plough, ."Eli W: hay rake. £9; ninwer. £17: plotiprh. £14 10/: hay rake. £0: set single buggy harness. £6 30/; double harness, £(i: sulky, £12 5/: milk cars. £1 1/ to £1 3/ each.
