ex-governor of the State, is still proceeding at Boise City, Idaho. Orchard, the chief witness for the prosecution, has testified how, at Haywood's instance, he and Steven Adams wrecked the Providence railway station, in order to prevent a spdt in the Miners' Convention, by providing a counteT-excite-ment. Twelve or 14 people -rare killed in that explosion. Later he asked Hay- I wood for 300 dollars, and the money was i sent him through Pettibone, while Adams j received 200 dollars. Orchard also narrated how the murder of a detective was planned by Pettibone, who paid him £100. : Moyer and Haywood, he further 1 stated, paid him money in connection with fatal mine-wrecking, and also with i Pettibone they paid him to kill Mr Steunenburg. They had also paid for fruitless endeavours to kill the Public Prosecutor for thwarting the plans of I i the Western Miners' Federation. j
