EDEN TERRACE

The ordinary meeting of the Eden Terrace Road Board was held last night. There were present: Messrs. J. H. Garrett (chairman). .1. 11. Browne, r>. Doull, W. Wrigley; and W. H. Haslett.

Main Drainage.—A letter was read from the town clerk. Anefcland. sngg-esting tne co-operation of the Board with, the City Council in regard to a scheme of main drainage. After discussion it was resolved to write to the City Council informing- that body that the Board would be prepared to trpat in regard to a Drainage Board. The Tram Tract.—lt was aedded, on tne motion of the chairman, to draw the attention of the A nek land Electric Tramways Company to the state of the tramway track from the old Eden Vine Hotel building to the terminus at Kingsland The chairman said that he tnongnt that t&e tract in its present condition was the worst piece of road in Auckland
