GOVEBNBEENTAIi INQUIRY. ANNOUNCEMENT THIS MONTH. LONDON, June 3. The Government has assigned the duty of inquiring into the proposals of the colonial Premiers for an "All Red mail route" from England to Australasia, via Canada, to the President of the Board of Trade (Mr Lloyd George), the Post-master-General (Mr Sydney Buxton), the Under-Recretary for tlie Colonies (Mr Churchill), ana the Financial Secretary Ito the Treasury (Mr Runciman). They ! will hear experts on the subject, and consider other evidence. They arc expected jto come to a decision in m.gard 1 to the matter during the present month.
