Foreman Maleolmson suitably responded. v- The Waihi Dramatic Society staged nt id the Academy ef Music ''Sweet Lavender " s- (I'ineroi, the performance being greatly ap?r predated by a large audience. T,Ue proie ductlon proved that the society has escepi'f tionally good material to work upon. Dr. i>- C'larldge had the leading role and Miss a McKenzie the leading larlys role. Mr Deunis. the manager, is to be complimented •n on the success achieved. Mr a. Peacock le was stage manager, and Mr V.
