RKCEPTTON AT AUCKLAND. I (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The New Zealand Rugby Union has decided to extend an official welcome to I the footballers on the day after their arrival at Auckland- Tho details are being left to the Auckland Union to arrange. In the evening an invitation banquet will be held, at, which the team j will be the guests of the local members Jof Parliament. The civic bodies and representatives of all amateur sporting bodies in the colony aro to be invited. The cost of the banquet will be. borne by the New Zealand Rug-by Union. Owing to his arrangements in the South the Governor regrets that he "will be unable to visit Auckland to welcome, the team. The Premier and the. Leader of the Oppo- ■ sition have been invited.
