The civic bodies and representatives of all amateur sporting bodies in the colony aro to be invited. The cost of the banquet will be. borne by the New Zealand Rug-by Union. Owing to his arrangements in the South the Governor regrets that he "will be unable to visit Auckland to welcome, the team. The Premier and the. Leader of the Oppo- ■ sition have been invited.
