io-night the gre-at Napoleonic play"
"'A Roya] ZHvorcp." , will replace "Monsieur Beancairr 7 ' at His Majesty's Theatre, and will be staged for three nights only. This play, which i« a vehicle for some fine "Spectacle, as well as intense acting, has bef>n one of the greatest of many memorable successes achieved by the popular stars and ablysupporting company, so that considerable interest attaches to the three farewell presentations in Anckiand- This powerful combination has always given a well-balanced interpretation of the historic tragedy, and the gresent revival is said to be in every way up to previous performances, showing, if anything, an improvement in technical finish. The leading roles wiD again be assumed by Mr Julius Knight (Napoleon) and Hiss Maud Jeffries (Josephine), whose finished representations of the characters are outstanding triumphs in their respective repertoires. Miss Florance Hamer will appear as the Empress Marie Louise. Special features are the tableaux representing the retreat of Napoleon from Mas,-ow. the charjre and rout on the immortal field of Waterloo, and the last lonely scene of all—the Man of Destiny alone at St. Helena.
