FANCY FAIR AT KINGSLAND.

The carnival promoted at Kingsland in aid of the Eden District Cricket Club i< achieving an encouraging amount of success, over £100 having been taken daily sinco the opening. A fine moonlight evening resulted in 3000 persons visiting the grounds last night, when the tramears were overtaxed, though pxtra ears ran from all parts. A butterfly ball, comic Japanese dance, maypoie, and au enjoyable concert were among the attractions, while an excellent projrramme of music was provided by Irapey r s band. The fair continues each day until Saturday, and will conclude with a moonlight excursion on Wednesday evening.
