The annual report of the New Zealand Amateur Rowing Association shows that 43 clubs arc-now affiliated, representing 2610 active paying members. The finan° cial,position is satisfactory, there bein* a credit balance of £52 and no liabilfties. Akarqa and Marlborough hive applied to have the next championship events rowed in their districts.. Mr. R. Heaton Rhodes, of Christchurchi was elected .president, arid Mr. H. Marriner. of Auckland, arid Mr. L;Bi Wilson, of IJuaedln, vice-presidents.
