WELLINGTON, Monday.
In the House of Representatives ..-this 1 ' morning Mr. Davey asked ? the - Premier whether he had read the report: of Va. meeting of ~ the North Canterbury" Charitable Aid Board, at which it was alleged that two ; young Catholic girls had been wrongfully treated. MrSeddon said he had read ' the report. There seemed to be good grounds for inquiry, and in the interests of. all parties concerned; the - : Government would take steps to see that-an inquiry was held. --. . ,;-■;;
