HORTICULTURAL SHOW AT PAEROA.
(From Oar Own Correspondent.) PAEROA, Thursday. The above society's seventh annual show was opened, by Mr E. G. B. Moss, in the Criterion Theatre this afternoon. The exhibits showed an improvement in quality in many classes as compared with former years. Special mention must be made of the class including bottled fruits, jam, wine, etc The Convent School came out well in the children's exhibits. Dean Beckett took first prize for dahlias, and Mrs Poland was successful in nearly every class.
