An Important Movement. (Received S-45 a-m.) LONDON. January 16. The tirm of Swan and Hunter, of Newcastle, with the co-operation of Halifax iNova Scotia) capitalists, is forming a company to establish a -.hipbuilding plant IX Halifax. The Dominion Government is promising a subsidy of six dollars a tan on ships constructed in Canada, while the City of Halifax i_s offering a bonus of two hundred thousand, and the Provincial Government a bonus of one hundred thonaanu dollars.
