TRAGEDY AT KALGOORLIE.
THREE CHILDREN BURNED TO , DEATH. - KALGOORLIE, September 17. A dreadful tragedy occurred at the Boulder to-ni?H, when th° three children of Edward Bi?hop, shift boss on Grent Boulder mine, were burned to death in the rims of his home, whic 1 ) was totally destroyed. The three children, Emily, ased three yrars and ahalf; Eva. two nnd Viol°t. ei-xht months, had just b"en put to bed by their mother, who afterwards went across the street to cndles. Apparently she Wt a li«r v t in one of t v e rooms, for. directly after left the house flames burst, out. Both parents rrrnde desperate efforts to rescue their little ores, bit were rMven back by the flames, wh'ch were fed by the inflammable interior l'rii?s of the walls. The fire brigade tunned out nromptlv. but their efforts to save the chi'dr«n or were of no avil. Mrs Bishon is too distracted to-nicrht to give any account whioh wn'ii he likely to explain the origin of the fire.
