,'To the Editor.) SL, —In the neighbourhood of Glasgow the Scottish Automobile Club have recently treated two portions of roadway with Westrumite, and one portion with crude oil. So far the results are highly s-tisfactory, and the roads surveyor is u.king special records as to the utility and durability of these applications, which will be reported on later on. In many stretches of road in London and suburbs, where the traffic is enormous, au Anti-,dust League under its instructions has treated the roads "with Westrumite with perfect success. Somehow or other our City Council is like a cow's tail—always behind. —I am, etc., AMICU&.
